Personally, A/E is a lot easier to maintain, and a lot hard to mess up the perma SF.
With A/Me you need to do DeadlyParadox->Arcane Echo->Shadow Form->27 seconds->Echo'd SF->Rinse and repeat.
With A/E you need to do Glyph of Swiftness->Deadly Paradox->Shadow Form.
A/E is much easier, and gives you more room for error/lag.
Also asking for builds that are about two threads below yours: Not in your best interest. But here ya go anyways.

Why is [Shadow Form] so much greater than [Mist Form]?besides the fact that its for dealing spell damage and for taking melee damage

Shadow Form gives you a permanent anti-spell shield AND making you unable to take melee damage. Mist Form only makes you unable to take any damage from attacks.

I just finished getting all the skills/titles needed for this build, but the only things I can seem to kill are the Graspings. I simply don't do enough damage to the aatxes... Any suggestions?

[Lava Font][Mark of Rodgort][Vipers Defense]
It takes a long time but it's doable.

I run
[glyph of swiftness][deadly paradox][shadow form][sliver armor][aftershock][teinai's crystals][dash][death's charge]
(death's charge for getting out of bodyblocks, I sometimes switch with [earth attunement], tryign to figure out which is better).
Really fast at first, slows down a bit once more enemies dies because Sliver is your main damage source, but i got two ectos in about 10 mins with it, so not too shabby.
FTR, I didn't die, I had to go :P

Font, Mark of Rodgort and vipers will kill aataxe in resonable time (I prefer Fire attune to vipers for more energy management) if your health is below about 60 or so, they don't scatter then. Just cast normal shadow form chain, let it run out then recast and start your run. Switch to a vampiric weapon every now and then (good idea to put an enchanting mod on it so if you forget to switch back your chain isn't broken) to stop natuaral regen. Targetting by spells will also stop regen. so if a few nightmares are about you dont need to switch.
Hope it helps, this tip was in another thread and I have used it, works well, especially on the mindblades. No idea if it works in HM tho.

thanks alot for that, I was looking around for builds here, saw this one and it worked like a charm, only used it in tombs of primevil kings so far (3 ectos in 3 runs ^_^ )
Might use it in UW later, just worried about the things that e-drain you >_>
I did switch out dash for glype of lesser energy, and when doing UW, might switch deaths charge or teinai's crystal for dash though since usually UW needs a running skill
